The Green Smoothie

I know what you’re thinking. It’s green. Umm hmm, I had to get over it myself. Sure, it’s not Jamba Juice, but the difference between the two health wise is on an epic scale. Another important fact to remember: Bottled juices and smoothies found on supermarket shelves have no nutritional value. Zip, zero, zilch. Apart from quenching your thirst, they have nothing to offer. Twenty minutes after the pressing, the nutritional value is gone forever. The good news is, the green smoothie is mostly fruit, making it much easier to drink, and the vitamin and enzyme count is off the charts.  Six years ago, I became interested in the raw diet. Lacking the dedication to go the whole hog, I cherry picked ideas that I could incorporate into my life.
